Yes, the tap water is ‘potable’ (drinkable) in the region although during the warmer months it is not very cold so bottled water may be preferred.

If you are flying, the nearest airports are Alicante and Valencia, followed by Murcia. Barcelona is a 3-4 hour drive away. By road, the house is very close to the Via de la Meditarreanea, the coastal motorway which runs along the entire east coast of Spain, linking Spain with France. This links to motorway routes from towns and cities all over Spain. The nearest railway station is Gata de Gorgos, with a tram line running from Denia.

Hiring a car at the airport is recommended as driving is the easiest way to reach the house. However, it is possible to arrive by taxi, tram or bus.

There are a number of swimming pools at your disposal one to two minute’s walk from the house. On the community of La Sella itself, you will find horse-riding and tennis courts which can be rented for an addition fee. Further afield are many beautiful and family-friendly beaches with plenty of amenities for children including children’s play areas, shops selling beach toys and many shops and restaurants with children’s menus. A trip to Benidorm means zoos and animal parks, water parks and theme parks, as well as boat trips and snorkelling.

To make the most of your stay and for your convenience, a small car is strongly recommended.  There is public transport to the town however to get the best out of your visit and to enjoy the surrounding areas and all it has to offer, a car is the best way.  Car hire is easily booked for collection and drop off at Alicante Airport.  

There are a few steps to enter the house. It is a two-storey building with a set of stairs internally to access both bedrooms. To reach the swimming pools by the fastest route, there is a set of steps although it can be accessed by road also.
