Enjoying the local area

Xàbia had a genteel air about it, with a wonderful Church in the shape of an upside-down boat. We also enjoyed a visit to the caves just outside Pedreguer, with all their rock and crystal formations.

A huge thank you

All in all, we had a great week. A huge “Thank You” to our hosts for making it happen!

Denia, down the road, and Playa Gandia and Xàbia were other towns that that we enjoyed! The Castle in Denia is a great visit [once you’ve found the way in!] with good views up the coast and across to The Balearic Islands.

Enjoying local restaurants

We enjoyed dining in the two local restaurants, and further afield, perhaps a 10 minute drive away. Open air dining in September was a brilliant bonus.

Relax on the spacious balcony

Four of us enjoyed being able to relax together on a spacious balcony, overlooking the swimming pools below. These pools are so different from each other! One is the conventional pool, the second, and larger pool, is more of a continuous cascade!!

The Lounge is full of comfy furniture that we sank into very easily! The beds are sleep-inducing, and make for lazy starts to the day! The outlook is across the valley to the distant sea!

Privileged to enjoy!

We were privileged to enjoy a week’s holiday in this lovely house in mid-September. The rooms are spacious and cool, the kitchen well-equipped.
